1st Art Symposium, Municipality of Amphipolis 2022

Nikos Chatzi participates in the 1st Art Symposium organized by the Municipality of Amphipolis with the Municipality’s Public Benefit Enterprise in co-organization with the Regional Unit of Serres in Rodolivos from July 28 to 31, 2022. The event is under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture & Sports.

The aim of the 1st Art Symposium is to highlight Art through the eyes of Local Artists. Artists such as: Visual Artists, Sculptors, Wood Carvers, Mosaic Artists, Glass Clay Artists, Musicians, will frame the 1st Art Symposium with their presence and creations.

The History and Culture of our region will be the inspiration of the Artists culminating in an expanded artistic creation which aims to bring to light unanswered questions regarding the history of the Kasta Tomb.

It attempts to investigate how artistic creation is enriched, incorporates practices and presents itself through time as a result and natural flow.

The cultural development of the Municipality of Amphipolis was and continues to be a matter of first priority, with artistic expression manifested through artistic activities which are the cell of our cultural creation.

The participating artists: Mischou Chrysoula (Musicologist, violinist, soprano, composer), Mandratzis Xenofontas (Art in stone & marble), Youcha Foteini (ceramics), Mylonas Vassilios (Saxophone music artist), Hatzigeorgiadou Giota (Painter), Vassilis Tataridis ( woodcarver), Laskari Eleftheria (singer), Hatzigeorgiadis Nikos (ceramic, painter), Alexiou Sakis (glass art), Dimitris Mouratidis (Photographer), Lydia Dirmiki (Painter).
