The Municipality of Drama, the Municipality of Kavala, DEKPOTA, DIMOFELEIA and the Association of Friends of Letters and Arts of Kavala are organizing an exhibition entitled “Drama Kavala Art Work 2018 4th Artistic May”. 22 visual artists who live and work in Kavala and Drama present their creations to the art-loving public of the two cities. The exhibition includes painting, sculpture, constructions, comics and video art. A multitude of different artistic currents and techniques will be developed within the framework of the exhibition, enabling the public to familiarize themselves with every manifestation of the contemporary visual world.
The exhibition will initially take place from May 4 to 11 at the Municipal Tobacco Warehouse of Kavala (opening hours 19.00-22.00). The opening will take place on Friday, May 4 at 19.00. Then the exhibition will be moved to Drama, from June 23 to July 4 in the “Eleftheria” Hall (opening hours 19.00 – 22.00) namely. The opening of the exhibition will take place on June 23 at 19.00.
Art Historian Vicky Konstantinidou is the artistic curator and the participating artists are: Despina Ambatzoglou, Thalia Gatzoulis, Zikidou Ioanna, Nikos Kakoulidis, Kostas Kamargianis, Christos Karakitsos, Kouyoumtzis Konstantinos, Lazaridis Giorgos, Mitroglou Anthi, Bali Ioanna & Christina, Nikou Giannis, Pa Palexion Maria, Pasvantis Antonis, Domna Saritsoglou, Konstantina Sidiropoulou, Stangidis Adrianos, Stangidis Diamantis, Tosounidis Odysseas, Toulis Eleftherios, Tsafi Antigoni, Hatzigeorgiadis Nikos, Chrysopoulidou Stavroula.
The exhibition “Drama Kavala Art Walk – 4th Artistic May” aims to present and highlight the artistic wealth of these cities, the public’s acquaintance with the creators of the two cities and of course the acquaintance and development of a fruitful artistic dialogue between the participating artists.
